What Is Perfect Square?
A perfect square is a number you get by multiplying a whole number by itself. Its square root is always a whole number too, with no radical needed to express it exactly.
Example
16 is a perfect square, since 4 × 4 = 16. 18 is not, since no whole number squared equals 18.
